H-GAMES: the inter-company competition that changes how people see disability

H-GAMES is celebrating its 6th edition in 2026. Since 2021, this inter-company competition, created with the Fédération Française Handisport, has been mobilising teams around a simple goal: changing how people see disability. This edition's angle is clear: disability beyond appearances. The in-person closing event is reserved for companies based in France.

Disability: a more invisible topic than people think

80% of disability situations are invisible, according to Agefiph. And 85% of them appear over the course of a person's life, not at birth. A colleague, a manager or a client could be affected without anything showing. That is the starting point of the 2026 edition of H-GAMES: bringing the topic out of silence and making it concrete for everyone, not just for people directly affected.

The format: a full programme, not a single day

H-GAMES runs from 9 to 29 November 2026, with the United Heroes app open from 2 November to get teams ready. The format includes:

  • a warm-up week from 9 to 15 November, then two weeks of competition starting 16 November;
  • a diagnostic survey before and after the operation, to measure how perceptions shift within the company;
  • awareness content throughout the challenge: quizzes, articles, testimonials, all available directly in the app;
  • a physical olympiad and a closing ceremony bringing participating companies together (event reserved for companies based in France).

The challenge is 100% accessible. There is no physical condition and no prerequisite: employees earn points through physical activity challenges, but also through challenges that have nothing to do with sport. No one is left out, which fits the topic at hand.

On Thursday 19 November at 11:30am, a webinar will be hosted by Christophe Carayon, Technical Director of the Fédération Française Handisport and a former elite athlete. The date falls within the Semaine Européenne pour l'Emploi des Personnes Handicapées (SEEPH), France's national week for the employment of people with disabilities, held from 16 to 22 November 2026 for its 30th edition, on the theme "Démystifier, simplifier, accompagner. L'emploi pour toutes et tous" ("Demystify, simplify, support: employment for everyone").

A six-year partnership

H-GAMES exists thanks to a single partner: the Fédération Française Handisport, a public-interest organisation with more than 60 years of action. It gives the operation its credibility and its grounding on the ground, edition after edition.

Six editions, an impact that shows in the numbers

Since its creation in 2021, H-GAMES has brought together more than 170 companies and raised 401,750 euros in donations for the Fédération Française Handisport.

  • 2021, Stade Charléty: 41 companies, 54,000 euros raised.
  • 2022, Piscine Molitor: 35 companies, 100,000 euros raised.
  • 2023, Hôtel Westin Vendôme: 23 companies, 74,000 euros raised.
  • 2024, Stade Charléty: 50 companies, 111,000 euros raised.
  • 2025, INSEP: 23 companies, 56,750 euros raised, 150 participants at the olympiad and 15 companies present at the closing.

Rewards and tax benefit

Points earned by employees turn into donations. Several rankings reward participating companies: an overall ranking by cumulated points, average rankings by company size (large accounts, mid-size companies, small companies), and themed awards: engagement award, social impact award, audience favourite, outreach award, legacy award.

Donations to the Fédération Française Handisport are 60% tax-deductible, on a scale that depends on company headcount. This tax benefit applies under the French tax framework.

The 2026 closing, carrying the Paris 2024 legacy

The closing ceremony takes place on 3 December 2026 at the Prisme de Bobigny, a venue that carries the legacy of the Paris 2024 Games, from 3pm to 6pm. 150 people are expected for hands-on workshops in blind football, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and goalball, plus a tour of the venue. Registration for the closing must be completed before 25 November 2026. This in-person event is reserved for companies based in France.

Why get your company involved

H-GAMES delivers on several fronts in a single operation: team cohesion around a shared goal, a measurable and documented CSR commitment, and awareness that reaches everyone, not just people directly affected by disability. It is also concrete proof of commitment to show, both internally and externally.

The full programme details, customer testimonials and the 2026 registration process are all on the H-GAMES SEEPH 2026 page.
